Ever after

The symmetry of every leaf
is only an illusion.
The mystery – unsymmetry
of yellow stones and muses.

The globe still spins eclectically,
all smouldering and bruising,
while we await
another wind
to dissipate seclusion.

And every day, year after year,
we plant new seeds of thinking
that there’s a life
where we shall be
forever young and building.
